Fundraising for Equestrian Facilities:
Franklin Park:
LHA extends sincere thanks to everyone in the equestrian community who has donated funds, materials, work and support to the Franklin Park riding ring project. As a result of this very successful collaboration by the Loudoun Horse Association, the United States Trail Ride, the Tri-State Riding Club and the County's Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services we anticipated that the ring will be constructed in spring 2010.
Lovettsville Community Park:
The Lovettsville Park equestrian project is on hold right now while the Department of Parks & Recreation, the Town of Lovettsville, Loudoun County Public Schools and VDOT address the Town's request for a southern entrance to the park, in the vicinity of the elementary school. To date LHA has raised $ 1,831 for the equestrian facilities at Lovettsville Park and will continue to raise money for this project because it will get underway once the outstanding transportation issues are resolved.
